A Hidden Gem in Downtown Greenville
One of my favorite spots is a beautiful park near downtown with a private little trail that I absolutely love.
This location is especially beautiful during peak fall foliage. When the golden sun peeks through the trees and bounces off the colorful leaves, it creates the prettiest warm, glowy light.
It's tucked away enough to feel private and natural, while still being conveniently located near downtown Greenville.
Best time: Peak fall foliage.

An Open Field in Simpsonville
For a more natural and relaxed look, the open field in Simpsonville is one of my favorites.
You get groomed grass, open space, and beautiful soft light without a lot of distractions in the background. It's also a great location for families with little ones because there's plenty of room to move around and let them be themselves.
The look changes slightly with the seasons, but that open field and golden evening light always make for beautiful images.
This is one of those locations where we can keep things really simple and let the connection between you and your family be the focus. It also works beautifully for maternity sessions when you want a more natural, romantic look.
Best time: Year-round.

Rock Quarry Garden
If you love flowers and greenery, Rock Quarry Garden is a beautiful choice - especially in the spring because of the gorgeous blooms.
When everything is blooming, the combination of colorful flowers, lush greenery, stone, and the natural surroundings creates such a pretty backdrop.
It's a little more tucked away than some of the other locations, so it has a quiet, romantic feel that works especially well for maternity sessions and couples, but it's also beautiful for families.
Best time: Spring.
Permit: Rock Quarry Garden requires a photography permit. The $50 permit fee is passed along to my clients who choose this location.

A Garden Area tucked in Falls Park
Falls Park is obviously one of the most recognizable spots in Greenville, but there's more to photograph here than just the waterfall and Liberty Bridge.
There's a beautiful little garden area that I love using for sessions, and it is especially pretty in the spring.
The green luscious colors reflecting around the little waterfall and rocks make such a beautiful backdrop. When the mix of colors and that warm evening sunlight coming through, it creates some of my favorite images.
It's also a really convenient option if you want a beautiful outdoor setting while staying close to downtown Greenville.
This location works beautifully for all types of session!

Permit: This area requires a photography permit, so there is a $50 permit fee that is passed along to clients who choose this location.

*A Note About Golden Hour & Weather*
You'll notice most of my outdoor images have that warm, golden glow. I schedule sessions around sunset to take advantage of that beautiful light.
Cloudy skies will give your images a softer, more muted look, so keep that in mind when looking through my examples.
I allow one reschedule per session, and weather-related reschedules do not count toward that one reschedule. If rain is in the forecast, we'll find another date with better weather.
